In this platform update we have added five new features to the Txtra business text message marketing platform including the most comprehensive Sticky Sender, integration with the most popular e-mail marketing platforms, Non-keyword/Non-contact Auto-Response and more.  Read below for details.

Sticky Sender

We’ve introduced a very useful “sticky sender” feature to Txtra. When you send your group SMS messages to subscribers and rotate through the numbers in your account, regardless of the numbers used in your rotation, so that contacts will always receive a message from the same long code number instead of a random one. So now, even if you rotate through multiple numbers in a user account when sending bulk SMS messages, your contacts will always receive a message from your primary phone number to create consistent experience and increase the response rate, maintain a conversation history, and build consistent experience!

Email Marketing Service Integration

Another frequently requested feature request is the integration of some of the major email marketing services. Txtra is now integrated into Mailchimp, AWeber, GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, and SendinBlue. So now, anytime a new contact sends their email address, either via a web widget sign-up form, texting it in (if email capture is turned on), kiosk, or if you add one manually, their email address will automatically be added to whatever email list you want in your email marketing provider. Simply add your email provider API to your account settings and watch the magic happen.

Non-keyword/Non-contact Auto-Response

You now have the option to set up an auto-response for anyone NOT in your contact list who sends you a non-keyword incoming text message. For example: Joe Smith (not in your contact list) sends a text “Hey, I ‘m interested in the house, please contact me.” You can set up a catch-all auto-response for these scenarios, where you can text it back to “Sure, CHAT text to start a conversation with us and add it to our list.” The Talk keyword would add them to your contact list, and now you can have a 2-way SMS talk with them using Txtra’s Online 2-Way Chat feature.

Manually Unsubscribe Contacts

You can unsubscribe a contact from the contact list manually now. Previously, if you called your support number asking to be deleted or mentioned in a 2-way chat asking to be removed from the list, you could just delete it from your contact list. Instead, you can unsubscribe them, which leaves them on your list to keep a record of that particular communication, but also prevents them from receiving any future messages.

Delete All Imported Contacts from Admin Panel

You now have the ability to delete all imported contacts from the admin panel for a user account. Users should only import verifiable, 100% permission-based contacts into the system where they have already obtained permission from such contacts. If the user can not provide you with verifiable information, the admin, of these contacts, you can simply delete all the imported contacts and turn off the import feature for this user account.
